'My goal is to age well and enjoy experiences with my kids and husband. After 50, you realize exercise and diet are critical to achieving that and changes in your body mean consistency is crucial. I live by my calendar so I treat exercise and menu creation just like I do all my commitments; I block them out and schedule around it. For me, routine creates habits and over time, what felt like a chore shifted to become a necessity and a source of enjoyment on it's own.  Plus, I can show off and harass my kids with how buff I am.  So win win!!'
